The box pouch..

Measuring in at 7” x 4 1/2” the box pouch is great for everyday use. Not limited in uses by its size or shape this pouch would be great as a make-up bag, can also hold a small sewing project if you’re on the go, makes a great camera case and can hold a small selection of snacks/sweets for those long car journeys.

It's a snap!

Whilst making various products I thought about different closures i.e zippers, buttons, elastic, leather cord, snap fastenings, magnets....

After using almost all of the above in various other products ranging from notebook covers to sewing kits it was time to make something smaller.
For this project I went with snap fastenings making these cute snap wallets. Great for holding smaller items like a packet of tissues, loose change, first aid supplies, sweets, a hand sewing project and so much more. Compact in size they can easily fit into your bag without taking up too much room.

Great as a small gift, brighten someone's day with one of these fun snap pouches. For sale now in store

Organising just got interesting!

Whilst scouring the internet for inspiration I came across organiser hoops. Some were no sew patterns, others were minimal sewing tutorials. I liked some aspects of both so combined the two ideas to make these fun embroidery hoop organisers.
They can hold quite a bit of weight in them as shown in the following pictures and can be used for a variety of items. Hung with a piece of ribbon and in my case a drawing pin (because hammering a nail into the wall wasn't practical at the time....) These hoops worked out great for my space as everything is easily accessible.

Each hoop has at least 5 pockets in a variety of widths.

What's on the list to do today?

Newly added to the store are these linen notebook covers. Perfect for jazzing up a plain notebook/journal/diary of A5 size. They come complete with a notebook to save you buying your own, the covers are removable and can be machine washed great for when you've finished one book and want to move on to the next

I don't know about you, but I love writing. Whether it's making to do lists or accounting my holiday shenanigans it's just a fun thing to do and look back on. Sure most people prefer to use a computer/tablet/phone, but sometimes nothing beats good old fashioned pen and paper!

I Spy with my little eye

Something beginning with........P

Seems like lately everyone around me is having babies! So I decided to create these fun I-Spy quilts. With 48 different patches and up to 5 different things to find in each patch these quilts are sure to keep the little ones entertained.

Turn it into a fun competition to see who can find the most items. Great for packing in the car on a picnic or using as a crib quilt as it's backed with supersoft minky fabric.

So if you know someone who's having a baby or just had one this could be the perfect gift!
